Be illuminated. Be happy. Yves Béhar’s Ardea personal light is inspired by nature, and it’s naturally inspiring. Ardea’s innovative design, diverse mounting options, and efficient performance will make everyone happy.
Mechanical performance. Ardea’s fluid aesthetic is a direct result of its mechanical performance: Flexible hinges at the base and the head are continuous with the rigid structure, allowing for infinite adjustment of the light for personalized illumination.
Stable and fluid. Ardea’s movement and flexibility are integrated within its form and use of materials. The aluminum extrusion is twisted in a new, innovative, manufacturing process, giving it additional structural ability and creating a unique aesthetic.
Low-energy consumption. The compact mini-fluorescent 13-watt bulb is low-energy consuming (.17 amps at 120v), while all materials and manufacturing processes have been developed for minimum environmental impact.
Multiple attachment options. Ardea has several attachment brackets that allow it to be attached in a freestanding manner, clamped to a work surface, or mounted on Action Office® panels or Ethospace® and Vivo™ frames and their tool rails.
Four color choices. Ardea comes in four colors: black, white, metallic silver, and polished aluminum.
